A system,
not a preset.
Foundation, extended, composed.
Shared
A common foundation
Base presets, creative profiles, and utility tools shared across every set in the collection. The same workflow, the same shortcuts, the same dependable starting points.
Specific
Tools tuned to your work
Each set carries some core tools shared across the Collection, plus genre-specific tools — fine-tuned for the lighting, subjects, and creative needs of the work that set is built for.
Composed
A recipe, not a preset
Stack a base preset with profiles and tools — the way a chef layers a dish. Each frame becomes its own composed edit, never a one-click filter.
Eternal is an expansive wedding preset collection crafted to give photographers unparalleled creative freedom. Designed as a flexible foundation, the set lets you start with a thoughtfully curated base colour grade, then fully customise both colour and dynamics to bring your vision to life.
Whether you lean cinematic, romantic, film-inspired, or modern — every frame can be shaped to match your style.
“Oh my goodness, I can’t believe how much you get with this one set! Both the colour and the B&Ws are so beautiful just on their own, but the dynamics and other tools just bring images to life in a whole new way. Being able to create your own preset essentially that fits your exact style is so incredible. All the lighting repair tools included too makes this a set that will endure in my go-tos!”
“This is going to be a game changer for wedding photographers… The ease to which you can modify and edit to suit the situation is fantastic. I really love the toolset, with a few simple clicks a hard to edit image is now easy. There are so many of these tools I love: mix light repair and scene balance are two of my faves.
Kin is an expansive portrait preset collection crafted to give photographers unparalleled creative freedom, allowing every edit to become a personal work of art.
Designed as a flexible foundation, the set lets you start with a thoughtfully curated base colour grade — a warm, earthen palette with quiet cinematic weight — then fully customise colour and dynamics to shape your vision.
“Right off the bat – holy wow. Where has this been all my life? As someone who photographs a lot of family and senior sessions, this is an absolute game changer and I am so stoked. I had flairs, corrections and other masks saved in my favourites before; with this set and the toolset, I don’t even need those. The white and black sets are instantly my favourite part – they do exactly what I want in terms of highlighting the subject and darkening the background, in a way that isn’t overpowering.”
“As a natural light photographer, my priority is finding an editing foundation that enhances the existing light rather than masking it. I love the Kin collection because it works symbiotically with natural light. Whether I’m shooting in open outdoor shade, golden hour, or working with diffused window light, the warm, earthen palette leans into the environment flawlessly.”
The Foundation Collection is a category of Archipelago preset sets — not a single product, but a family of premium sets built on a shared architectural framework. Every set in the collection carries the same panel layout, workflow, and shortcuts, but the tools inside are tuned for the genre that set is designed for. Eternal is built for weddings. Kin is built for portrait, family, and lifestyle work. More sets are in development.
You purchase Foundation Collection sets individually. The shared structure across the collection means the muscle memory you build in one set carries into the next, no matter what you photograph.
Foundation Collection sets are built for working photographers who want a complete editing system rather than a fixed look. Each set is expansive enough to handle a full genre's worth of real-world scenes — mixed lighting, fast-moving subjects, tricky shadows, varied skin tones — while staying flexible enough to bend to your own creative direction. If you've outgrown one-click presets and want a system that supports a real body of work, this is the tier built for you.
Foundation Collection sets are larger, more flexible, and built to work together as a system. Each set includes 8 base presets, Creative Profiles, and 50–60+ specialised tools across Scene, Subject, Lighting, Colour, and Utility categories — far beyond a typical preset pack. The shared architecture across the collection means once you've learned how to edit with one set, you can move into any other Foundation set without relearning your workflow.
No. Each Foundation Collection set is a complete editing system on its own. If you primarily shoot weddings, Eternal is fully equipped to handle that work end-to-end. If you primarily shoot portrait, family, or lifestyle work, Kin will cover you in the same way.
Photographers who shoot across multiple genres often own more than one set so they can move fluidly between them — with the same workflow, but tools tuned to each genre. Members get up to 50% off every set in the collection through the Archipelago Society.
Yes. New Foundation Collection sets are in active development, each built for a specific genre of photography work. Because every set follows the same architectural framework, anything you've learned in Eternal or Kin will carry directly into the next set you pick up.
